The fourth wall
The Fourth Wall is a collaborative, arts project interweaving different personal audio stories about conflict, inspiration, safety, home and belonging. For this first pilot portrait, we have taken as our focus the people, place, memories and experiences of those encountered in these communities in Mile End.
This audio portrait was a collaboration between artist Alinah Azadeh and The Mile End Community Project and has emerged out of a period of research and development (originally called Through A Wall) focused on stories rooted in encounters with – and beyond – walls, borders and barriers.
The project was produced by Gini Simpson, and sound mixing by David Thomas.
