The photography campaign includes a collection of portraits reflecting the group’s aspirations for their ideal community.
These portraits visually represent the young people’s vision, showcasing the values and principles needed to cultivate
a strong and supportive community. By sharing their insights, the project aims to inspire dialogue and motivate others to contribute towards building a united community.

first responders
In 2019 started the intative ‘First Responders’. Our main objective is to raise awareness and promote community cohesion in times of emergencies.
The project, to date, has organised a variety of workshops, including meaningful and engaging conversations, media workshops, and tailored emergency first aid courses, culminating in the creation of an impactful short video ad and media campaign
The short video ad’s purpose is to educate and remind the community about the essential basic steps to take during an emergency, empowering individuals with practical knowledge and fostering preparedness.
The photography campaign includes a collection of portraits reflecting the group’s aspirations for their ideal community.
The short ad will be screened at Genesis Cinema pre feature films for 6 month from July 21. The media campaign will also appear in Tower Hamlets and Poplar’s digital billboards for one week.
The First Responders campaign will play a vital role in providing young people and communities with the necessary knowledge and preparedness prior to the arrival of paramedics during emergencies via first aid courses. It will emphasise the significance of taking immediate action and foster collective responsibility within communities by highlighting practical steps that can be taken at that point.
We are excited to announce that the next phase of our project will focus on creating additional resources about first aid and providing guidance on how to assist someone in an emergency situation. While we work on that, we encourage you to visit the British Red Cross website to learn essential first aid techniques:
The First Responders campaign’s core aim is to make a difference when it matters most and potentially save lives.
